
The Sony PIIQ range of headphones and earphones is already available to the US market and is now being released in Japan. The PIIQ range consists of 5 different headphones and earphones. The price ranges between $14 and $99. At the lower end we have the two earphone models. Exhale which puts it’s emphasis on bass with a 13.5mm driver and 12-22,000 HZ frequency response. The MRD-PQ5 headphones are available in green, yellow, pink and multi color. For $5 more we have the Qlasp, the 9mm drivers allow clear sound with 6-23,000 HZ. Also available in pink, yellow, black, brown and multi colored.
For $5 more, at $29 we can get the cheapest PIIQ headphones, the Triqii. They feature 30mm drivers and 14-22,00 HZ frequency with a durable and comfortable design. The Triqii headphones are available in black, pink, yellow and multi colored. The Giiq however ups the price considerable, coming in at $49, available in a multi color design, gray or green. Each design is unique. Sony have described the Giiq as a “Hi-Fi without the heft. Flex motion cups and slick skinned cord doesn’t crimp your style.” Lastly we have the Marqii headphones, which retail for $99, the most expensive of the bunch. They feature “posh closed, dynamic (supra-aural) headphones feature 40mm drivers (1000mW capacity) and tout powerful bass and supreme sound.”
