By Tech Girl, on December 16th, 2011 Time management games don’t necessarily have to have the most attractive appearance, but The Voxel Agents, creators of Train Conductor 2: USA, the sequel to Train Conductor, obviously take pride in this new version. The original app based its levels on areas in the Australian Outback, Train Conductor 2 has all new areas based on four major American cities as well as one famous landmark – Las Vegas, Nashville, New York, and Miami, as well as the Grand Canyon.

The artwork is all well-drawn and colorful, and the levels are nicely enhanced by the in-game soundtrack. The tunes are also pretty easy on the ears, and quite catchy. Just as in the first version, you use a touch-screen to guide trains to the correct stations, which are identified by color codes.
The trains run on parallel tracks, and you guide a train to a new path by tracing straight lines between tracks. You also have the option to temporarily halt trains by tapping them. If a train is guided to the incorrect station, you just lose a point, but if there’s a collision, it’s game over.
